How to work with Service Variations

With Service Variations, you can create multiple service variations based on the combination of different options, such as duration, location, size or any custom option you want. 

Here are some of the benefits of using Service Variations:

  • More options for your clients: You can create multiple variations of your services to suit different needs and preferences.
  • Target different segments of your audience: You can set different prices for each variation, making it easier to target different segments of your audience.
  • Manage your availability more effectively: You can manage your availability for each variation, so you don’t overbook or underbook your services.
  • Streamlined website: You can offer a range of options without cluttering up your website with multiple listings.

Each service variation can have its price, promotional price, availability and – if you’re using third-party bookings – booking URL. 

Let’s see how it works.

Step 1: Head to Editor > Sections #

First, log in to your Hub and click the “Edit Website” button. This opens the Editor.

Next, click on Sections.

Step 2: Open your Services #

Once you’re inside Sections, choose Services.

Step 3: Edit or Create a Service #

Once you are inside the Services section, you can create a new service or edit an existing one. You can add variations to existing services!

If you already had your services added, simply navigate to the services group and select the relevant service of which you want to add your variations. 

Step 4: Activate Service Variations #

Scroll down until you see the option to activate service variations: “This service has multiple options”. Make sure this is switched to green. 

Step 5: Add Your Options #

Click on ‘Add new option’ and a pop-up will appear, prompting you to select different options relevant to your Services, such as Type, Duration, Location, or you can Customise your own. 

After that, Simply add the options into the text box, separating each option with a comma. Finish by clicking ‘Add option’. 

It is possible to add more than one option for your variations, just choose Add another option. 

 Once you are done, click Save!

Editing Service Options  #

Options are removable by clicking on Edit and use the bin icon next to each option. You can also rearrange their positions by dragging and dropping the options. Don’t forget to click Save once you are done. 

 Please, note that: You will receive the notifications on the email address and mobile number that you used to register your Esesito account.

Step 6 (Optional): Additional Service Variations Settings #

Manage Pricing and Availability #

Having added your service variations, you can customise the availability, price and promotional price of each variation. To do so, click on the Edit button next to Manage Pricing and Availability. 

  • Availability is defined through the “Bookable” checkbox.
  • Price and Promotional Prices are setup in the respective inputs.

Third-party Bookings #

If you have chosen the option to make your services bookable on a third party platform, then you will also be able to add different URLs to each variations. 

Simply choose different custom links for third-party URLs for each service variation.

Please note that the URL you define for the main service will be used for all service variations that do not have a specific URL.

Once you’ve completed these steps, click on “Save” and your services will be shown with their available variations!
