Create Coupons #
Step 1: Click on “Add coupon” #
Step 2: Select Coupon Type #
To create a coupon, you’ll need to decide on the coupon type you want. We currently offer three types of coupons: percentage discount, fixed discount and free shipping.
- % Discount coupons apply a percentage-based discount on shopping cart checkout. This means the discount amount varies according to the total amount of the order.
- Fixed Discount coupons apply a flat discount over the total of the order.
- Free Shipping coupons set all shipping costs to zero on checkout.
Step 3: Fill in Coupon Details and Settings #
Depending on the coupon you choose, you will need to fill in the relevant fields, including the coupon code, discount values and other type-specific parameters. The coupon name and coupon code are mandatory for all coupons.
- Coupon name. A name to identify your coupon. The coupon name must be under 25 characters.
- Coupon code. This is the code that your customers can redeem. The coupon code must be unique and contain only letters and numbers with no special characters. It must be between 6 and 25 characters long.
On the final step of the coupon-creation wizard, clicking on the “Add coupon” button saves your coupon. It is now ready for use!
Sharing Coupons #
You can also promote your offers on your social media platforms to incentivisen purchases. This is very easy: just open the coupon you want to share and click on the any of the “Share Coupon” links.
